One case study of many:

Monica put her house up for sale for $650,000. It sat on the market for nine months, during which time she dropped her price by $20,000. She got no offers. She then went to speak to another Real Estate Agent, whom she hadn’t used previously. He recommended a Home Stager, who then went to work on the house for two days.

With the Staging process finished the Real Estate Agent organised an Open House for that weekend, but on the Friday another Agent brought around a client, who ended up signing a contract that afternoon for the original asking price of $650,000. The other Agent still decided to go ahead with the open house on the Saturday. Another offer came in and a bidding war was on! The House sold for $673,000! (Monica spent $2,800 in Home Staging.)

Staging your home is a minimum investment for a maximum effect.

BUT MOST OF ALL THE COST OF STAGING YOUT HOME IS VERY MINIMAL IN COMPARISON TO WHAT THAT FIRST PRICE-DROP IS GOING TO COST YOU!

However for some it might be the quick sale that Staging causes, that is of the most value.

Another might need to consider the extra mortgage payments that a home that is sitting on the market for some time causes, and to some it might mean two mortgage payments at the same time.

An example would be: If your home is not Staged, and sits on the market for four months, and your mortgage is $1000 per month, that is $4,000!
